Founded by Geo. S R Pradeep, a distinguished Geology post-graduate from CUSAT and expert in India’s groundwater sector, our academy is built on decades of hands-on experience. Known as the Borewell Guru, Mr. Pradeep started his journey in 1991 by founding Indus Geotech, after completing his post-graduation.
Mr. Pradeep has conducted over 4,000 geophysical investigations to accurately assess subsurface water availability, and his vast field experience forms the backbone of our academy. We are a mission-driven institution dedicated to training future borewell professionals, hydrogeologists, and groundwater technicians through a curriculum that blends theory with hands-on skills. Whether you’re a beginner, professional, or institution, our programs offer practical, empowering learning. With expert-led sessions, fieldwork, and real-world case studies, we aim to build confident, ethical water management professionals. As groundwater challenges grow, our academy leads the way in educating those ready to make a meaningful impact.
When you join us, you’re not just enrolling in a course—you’re becoming part of a legacy led by one of India’s most trusted names in groundwater science. Together, we can dig deeper—not just into the earth, but into knowledge, innovation, and sustainable impact
To professionalize groundwater exploration and equip the next generation of geologists, engineers, and water managers with the skills they need to build a sustainable, water-secure future for India.
For too long, the borewell industry has been led by untrained contractors, often resulting in:
Failed borewells
Over-extraction of aquifers
Misuse of pumps and water systems
Poor understanding of water quality and treatment
We’re here to change that narrative.
A future where every borewell is scientifically located and responsibly drilled, using geophysical data — not assumptions.
A world where pumps are selected based on precise calculations, ensuring energy efficiency, durability, and long-term performance.
A system where water quality is understood, monitored, and treated, safeguarding the health of communities.
An industry where trained professionals — not unqualified contractors — make decisions that affect critical groundwater resources.
Villages and cities where rainwater is harvested and recharged, and groundwater is replenished, not depleted.
Projects that are not only successful in the short term, but sustainable for future generations.
Explore real-world training, field activities, and the impact of our hands-on programs through photos from our sessions and site work.
We provide the best solutions for all your water related issues monitored by our experienced geologists.
